MARGARETA SVENSSON RIGGS

In 2019, as both a musical artist as well as a voice teacher and vocal coach, Margareta Svensson Riggs was one of the international expert judges on the new global talent competition show The World's Best from reality TV heavyweights Mark Burnett and Mike Darnell on American television network CBS. Headliners were James Corden as host, and Drew Barrymore, RuPaul and Faith Hill as American judges.
For Swedish television, Margareta is perhaps most known for her participation in the show Svenska Hollywoodfruar, (Swedish Hollywoodwives) season 5, on TV3 Scandinavia in 2012. Season 5 had the most viewers out of the 13 seasons according to MMS.se.
Margareta also appeared in 2018 in Svenska Hollywoodfruar - The Reunion, as well as Svenska Hollywoodfruar - In Focus.
For the web Margareta produced a segment in style with her Hollywood-wives persona. With charm, humor and realism she played off of a segment of Svenska Hollywoodfruar, season eight. in "The Svensson Riggs Show - I'm On The Cover!"
Margareta is an alumni of the prestigious acting school Calle Flygare Teaterskola, Stockholm. In additional she has had acting and dance training at Harvard University, Tisch School of the Arts, NYU, Musical Theater Works Conservatory and StoneStreet Studio for Film and Television Acting to name a few, Margareta has been seen in a number of roles.
Her credits include an off-Broadway production of Annie Get Your Gun, Eliza in My Fair Lady, parts for both stage, film and television, such as Terenzia in The Changed Bridegroom (Hollberg,) Julie in Miss Julie (Strindberg,) and Yelyéna Andréyevna in Uncle Vanya (Chekov.)
Commercial credits include Cap Gemeni for national Swedish Television, and Ilta Saanomat for national televisions in Finland, which in turn was chosen by British BBC for the show Commercial Breakdown, ( in Sweden "Reklamdax med Ruby Wax") featuring the world’s funniest commercials.
